Role description

Reporting directly to our Project Delivery Lead, the Solutions Analyst will be a key part of our delivery team, ensuring we continue to define and deliver exceptional work for our clients.

This role is an important position that sits between our clients’ business and user needs, and the work delivered by our talented design and developer colleagues. You will often find yourself in the crucial position of “translator”, ensuring that everyone is informed and understands the goals of the project. This role will involve supporting our clients to balance their, sometimes conflicting, business and user needs.

You will work closely with our project teams and our clients to ensure we are capturing, interrogating and understanding user and business requirements. You will work with developers and designers to turn that understanding into clearly defined solutions, and you will ensure that we are measuring and assessing the success of our work and acting upon those insights.

You will collaborate with our project managers to ensure that clients understand what is being done, and why.

The ideal candidate

  • Has an understanding of and interest in how to achieve great user experiences
  • Is comfortable having technical conversations with technical experts
  • Is equally comfortable having conversations with non-technical users to capture and define requirements
  • Has the ability to clearly communicate complex issues and proposed solutions
  • Has the essential soft skills required to actively listen to clients needs, negotiating differing opinions and perspectives to drive everyone towards a shared end goal
  • Has experience analysing and acting upon user research and data
  • Is comfortable working within defined constraints and understanding when and how to compromise effectively
  • Has experience working in an agency, or other fast-paced, working environment where you have had to deal with competing priorities

Some of the following knowledge and experience would be helpful (but is not essential):

  • Designing and delivering user research activities
  • Experience of accurately estimating work (and understanding when and why estimates will be less accurate)
  • Experience working with or at arts or cultural organisations
